Ranked the number one undergraduate research/creative projects program by U.S. News and World Report in 2002, UROP sponsors research partnerships between first and second year students and university faculty, with participation from all schools and colleges. Approximately 900 students and over 600 faculty researchers are currently engaged in research partnerships. More information
Offers research internships abroad in Chile, China, South Africa, Jamaica, and Ghana for undergraduates with junior standing in biomedical or behavioral science programs to explore problems relating to the health and development of children in developing countries, as well as poor and minority groups in the United States. Intensive research projects for concentrators in their senior year to conduct original advanced research on a topic of their choice, under the direct guidance of a faculty member.
